It uses aggregate information from users to identify malicious software. Symantec claims to use data from 175 million devices that have installed Endpoint Security in 175 countries.

Endpoint Protection has an administrative console that allows the IT department to modify security policies for each department, such as which programs or files to exclude from antivirus scans. It does not manage mobile devices directly, but treats them as peripherals when connected to a computer and protects the computer from any malicious software on the mobile device.

Step: 1- If you have any trial version of v14 or previous installed on your system,

 remove it completely and reboot afterwards.

Step: 2- Unpack full version and start installation.

Step: 3- Install the standard client mode (unmanaged client modes)

during installation when prompted.

Step: 4 - This is what's needed for desktop and workstation environments.

Norton Internet Security 2014 With Trial Reset 180 Days:

How to Install:

1. Run NIS-TW-21.0.0-EN.exe  And Install Norton Internet Security 2014.

- Turn off Norton Tamper Product Protection  (Setting>General> Product Security> Norton Product Tamper Protection)

- Restart  And Run Computer Safe Mode.

- Run NTR 2014 v1.0.exeAnd Click Reset/Convert  Button.

In the Norton Internet Security main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, click the General tab.

In the left pane, click Product Security.

In the Norton Product Tamper Protection row, move the On/Off switch to the right to the Off position.Click Apply.

In the Security Request dialog box, in the Select the duration Hour/Time/Days drop-down list, select how long you want to turn off Norton Product Tamper Protection.

Click OK. In the Settings window, click OK.

                   How To Restart/Reboot/Start/Run your computer in Safe mode:

1.Remove all floppy disks, CDs, and DVDs from your computer, and then restart your computer.

2.Click the Start button Picture of Start button, click the arrow next to the Shut Down button Picture of Shut Down button, and then click Restart.

Do one of the following:

3.If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you'll need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then shutting down and restarting your computer.

4.If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to highlight the operating system you want to start in safe mode, and then press F8.

5.On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight the safe mode option you want, and then press Enter. For more information about options, see Advanced startup options (including safe mode).

6.Log on to your computer with a user account that has administrator rights.

7.When your computer is in safe mode, you'll see the words Safe Mode in the corners of your monitor.

8.To exit safe mode, restart your computer and let Windows start normally.
